Comic art markers - Set 3 by fuurin Comic art markers - Set 3 by fuurin
Letraset commissioned me to do some art for the new packaging on their Promarker sets. Normal sets have 10 markers, but I was also supplied with markers from the corresponding Additions set so there were 15 colours to work with in total.
It was a bit challenging to work with a fixed palette, but limitations can make you come up with new solutions. :)

This is Set 3 which is aimed at girls. All in all, the 3 sets are supposed to complement each other, so if you look closely at the palette, you'll notice that there aren't any skin tones in this set. Rather than using the closest shade (pink! XP) I kept the white of the paper and used the pink to give her some blush.

amazing to see what you can do with a limited pallet

goes to show that you really don't need all 300+ colours or whatever to do good art

Beautiful ~ :+fav:

I use the spice colour for hair and the vanilla for skin, if it comes out too bright, you can allways dull down later ~

So soft! *_* These are very impressive - both the colouring and the arwork in it self. Well done!
