Artist's Comments

I had two main sources of inspiration for this pic.

I wanted to try drawing slightly taller people from my usual style... if that makes sense ^^;
I think that a style where you exaggerate the height and the length of the limbs can be very graceful and aesthetical. It's hard to explain, but I refer you to to see my source of inspiration.

For the technique and the colouring I tried to imitate the style of in this pic [link] , but I came nowhere near her class.
Her pencil skills are to die for!! She is the mastah of the trade... :worship::worship::worship:
If you don't know her art already I command you to go and see her stuff, you won't be disappointed! Her art is so beautiful and inspirational, I'd be lucky to get half as good as her. :XD:

Oh, I love this..he's so willowy, but that's a natural thing in my own characters..XD I love the hands, they're gorgeous. Well done!

:clap: Very beautiful & it's rather kewl to see how you strayed a little from your usual style as it is slightly less shoujo-ish. I really like the overall sepia hues, & the worn out/tattered appearance kinda makes the picture look map-like (awesome background) ^_^ Great job on the shading texture as well as the faint blurring that makes it seem like he's far off in a lost memory or something :)
