I'll be sharing a table with some awesome people from the Sweatdrop.com forums at London Expo 28-29 October. I wish I had a manga to sell but since uni starts tomorrow there's no way I'd have time to make one in time, instead I made these bookmarks.
The expo is just before Halloween which is why I found these motifs especially suitable. ^^

I kept the colouring simple since I wanted to emphasise the line art. ^^

I haven't printed them yet, I'm still trying to find an affordable printer who'll help me laminate them.
What would a good price for bookmarks be? £1, £1.5?
Also I'm not sure about how many to print... I want to sell off most of them at the Expo since it's a memorabilia from this event and I put "London Expo" on them. Would 75 of each be enough? Sounds like an awful lot to me... ^^;

Ahh~ London Expo! :> I'm going this year so I will probably buy one off you in person. ^^ Ahh.. How would I know what you look like? Will just have to guess! XD

It would be really sweet if these were the front and back of the same bookmark! *0* The composition of the boy is better.. But the girl's design is pretty!! *decisions* T.T

You have no idea what a great source of inspiration you were to me in the Elfwood days a few years ago when I just started drawing. TT_____TT
I don't know how many times I used to lvisit your gallery to try and figure out how the heck you drew so pretty pictures! Just knowing that we were in the same art community gave me a sense of awe and spurred me to get better.

I find your development very interesting. Your art has taken on a more edgy feel now but I love it! 4 years ago, when all I looked at was the big eyes and the shinyness, I might not have understood but since I've seen you go from there to here I'm really intrigued. I hope you have found something that is closer to yourself. I'm struggling to find my own style as well...

Haha so sorry for the massive rantage, it's just that I would never have dared to imagine that I'd meet you some day back then. When I came to the UK I actually thought "This is where Gillian Sein Ying Ha is..."
Okay, don't be afraid of me I'm not going to stalk you or anything. :XD: It's just that you were one of my "childhood heros" in my manga drawing life. o^___^o

I'll look into if I can make the bookmarks twosided, I agree that it would make the best solution. ^__^

If you laminate them, I'd say about £1.5., judging by the currency rate we learned in German last year, but I'm not sure at the moment.

Would it be possible for anyone to make an overseas order? I'd be intrested if that's available ^^

I think what happened between Elfwood and dA was that I grew up. XD Not being so prudish about hentai and yuri and discovering manga, films and animation that were more interesting for me. Until then my collection was limited to whatever Manga Video, Viz, Darkhorse or ADV released, and a bunch of Animerica magazines featurin anime I never got to see.. Now it's just *dldldl~!!* and iiiiiiiiinterneeet shooooooopping~~!! :D

Erk,. Just to warn you, I look like a 'tard irl (whatever a "'tard" looks like). XD Tend to be shy and hold back first meet, bascially a female version of the stereotypical male Otaku. X3 So er.. I'm gunna try my best to look presentable on that day.. *0*
