This thing has been sitting on my hard drive since the end of summer. I really liked the line art so I wanted to give it a good soft colouring but whenever I like something I get too careful since I'm afraid of ruining it. I ended up putting it to the side until I could find the inspiration or motivation to colour it.
It turned out a bit different from what I had in mind... but then I'm not entirely sure what I did have in mind...  The composition is awfully simple but what I liked was I like their expressions in the first place... I sense tenderness yet restraint.
